Pro-touring Novas may come equipped with either 3-point seat-belts or 5-point racing harnesses, and high-back/high bolstered seats.
This combination keeps the driver and passenger firmly planted and drastically reduces movement, while maneuvering through corners and turns.
A half or full roll cage may be utilized as well. Roll cages are used for occupancy protection, and work in tandem with the suspension to reduce the car's body flex, and further stiffen the chassis.
