Chevy Novas have been in the Chevrolet automobile lineup since 1961. There have been different body style variations, but the most coveted are from the years of 1967-1972.
The Chevy Nova was different from the Camaro and the Chevelle. This was the "weapon of choice" for drivers that wanted to gain a leg up on street or drag racing, while flying under the radar.
With its lack of "call out badges", large engine bay, and the fact that it shared many components with the race built Camaro and Chevelle, the Nova was an excellent racing platform for the discreet driver.
Well-known Chevy dealerships such as Don Yenko Chevrolet, Baldwin/Motion, and Dick Harrell offered custom racing performance straight from the dealer lot!
